When you see my name, I bet you think something horrible. 

Seth Hayes: a killer, a murderer, a psychopath, a monster. 

And maybe that's what you should see. Maybe that's what I deserve. Who am I kidding? Of course, it's what I deserve. 

 And maybe I don't deserve something like this, a story of my life. An explanation. 

I wasn't always like this. I wasn't a heartless monster, so obsessed with power that I  killed over it. So obsessed with the idea of something bigger that I was willing to die over it. 

And what you're about to read isn't an excuse for what I did and it definitely does not excuse it.  

But maybe you'll be able to understand me. 

Even if only for a tiny, fleeting moment.
