"Have you ever loved a story so much that you wished you could go inside the book and live it? Well, I can. And let me tell you, it's not always as great as it seems."
For some people, reading is a form of torture. But for Tessa Vallin, reading is a way of life. It probably helps that she (literally) lives the stories she reads.
When Tessa decides to bring her sister along on a bookish adventure, she hopes to share her second life--a Reader who travels into stories and makes it back to the real world in time for supper. In her enthusiasm, Tessa fails to consider the dangers the story poses to her sister. And, you know, the whole "getting out of the story with her sister" thing.
But that couldn't be too hard to figure out, could it?
