Experiments are conquering the country state by state, enslaving the scared humans and eradicating the disobedient ones. With a twisted monarch fantasy, experiments are every bit the dictators people always feared to be ruled by. Except for Micah, an experiment who once appeared to be Evelyn's biggest threat but somehow slowly becomes her strongest ally after saving her. The doctor has operated on him again, creating a stronger, more deadlier beast for reasons unknown, though, it's skeptical he's working for Micah. Between Ash and Ember - Book One
Ever thought surviving first period-and facing her best friend's boyfriend, whom she recently kissed-would be the hardest part of her day. She was wrong. The world is ending. Literally. But just when she's barely wrapping her head around her destiny, a mysterious (and annoyingly handsome) stranger shows up. He drives her crazy, yet somehow feels...familiar. And he just might hold the key to unlocking Ever's forgotten past and to stopping the strange, earth-shattering events unraveling the future. As secrets unfold and loyalties are tested, Ever has to make a choice: walk away from the chaos and pretend the world isn't ending or embrace her destiny and risk everything to save it. I see how people die. It only happens the first time I touch someone. A handshake. My arm brushing yours on the subway. All of it. So much noise, every day and all the time. Drives a girl crazy after a while. If there's no skin contact, my head belongs to me for a few more seconds each day. I've seen every scenario. Except for one. I've never played an active role in a death. That is, until now. Copyright © epicmishamigo 2019 July 25th 2019- October 8th 2019Complete
