This is a personal, purely opinionated narrative of how I, (Blue Maverick) perceive how society is affected by the teachings of the Catholic religion. 

As an ordinary person looking for purpose in a life full of questions and self exploration, I hope to impart what I have observed in my 25 years of life growing up in a Catholic household that has shaped my view of the world for a long time. 

This is NOT, I repeat, NOT a personal attack on any Catholic, especially for those I know and love as people, and those I do not know, but hope to get my message across to.

It always seemed to me somewhat self-indulgent and egotistical for somebody to spend time writing about their life and then expect other people to read it. I am not a writer, something I think all my English teachers at school would have concurred with-I was a mathematician-but I felt obliged to write my life story after my inner world conspired to write a response to the problem of Being. My Philosophy of Being is original; it flowed from my life journey over ten years like a stream from its source. I knew that if I were to reference my primary source, I would have to write it first. Reluctantly, I set about writing my life story, but as I wrote it, I realised there were other reasons why I needed to complete it, which should become clear as you read it.

These little hashtags pepper our lives. These are mine and how they represent me. At least that is how I wanted this book to be. It was to be a book of short articles using a hashtag as inspiration. However, it has grown and changed as I have. This book was birthed from my not-so-short social media posts. As I began engaging with people who don't share the same opinion as me, I dug deeper into trying to understand how I decided on my beliefs. I did some armchair research on Street Epistemology. If you haven't heard of it, YouTube it. It will get you to think! I did. I came face to face with what I believed, how I got there, and why. It also forced me to ask whether my beliefs are consistent with my morals and ethics. This book is my contribution to the marketplace of ideas. Hopefully, it stands up to scrutiny. If not, let me know. Maybe you will change my mind. Don't be afraid to join in the conversation; our fluid and diverse voices make our society unique.

The increasing inner confusion of his generation that surrounds his steps in the modern world, of course, is not something that is easily ignored by him as a human being who still acquires traditional values in his soul. 2. Nurturing Culture This writing attaches various possibilities and probabilities to an event in the future when the generation of humans who reign/control today's world do not have good competence, cognition and emotional stability in setting boundaries, respecting and appreciating. The presence of traumatic personal experiences and several clauses related to culture that have been passed down from previous generations, of course, can support the importance of discussing this theme.

This biography of personal philosophy was started when I was inebriated, the middle bit was done when enlightened and the ending wrote itself. I've dipped in and out of this between life, work, parenting, writing a fiction novel or two, training and healing along the whole way. These are the words that come to me about, well, everything; the way the world works and indeed doesn't work in my eyes. Whether it will work in the end remains to be seen but indeed during the two years I've been writing this the world has changed, both for the better and the worse. Wars, murder, politics, religious hysteria and mass hate has been balanced by an increase in enlightenment, acceptance of alternative therapies and widespread use of 'mindfulness' and the will for peace. In this time societies have stretched to the limits of depravity and saintliness and I presume will eventually break or twang back to an uncomfortable medium. Whilst it has been horrible to watch at times I have to admit that these extremes are necessary for a population to understand how far it can and should go, like a small child who tests at being good and bad to see it's parents reactions before settling into a balanced middle ground. The question there is, what are the parents like? Well, as I see it, Dad's a bit of a devil and Mum's an angel so I'm sure the kid will turn out alright in the end.
