Our Brush With Corona
COVID...the pandemic entered our lives, the deadliest in a hundred years and caused a catastrophic change in our lives. It caused serious disruption of the economies all over the world and changed the way that we had lived earlier, drawing us out of our comfort zones. But there is another side of the story too, small as it may appear. It made us introspect and reach out for some of the things in life that we always longed for, but never had the time nor the sufficient will to indulge in, often hiding behind the veil of pretense that we cover around ourselves. One of the most cherished things that emerged out of this dismal scenario is that many of us found the time and the appetite for the company of our most loved ones, chiefly our parents. My whole life was a misery Still I tried hard to go through it I was a mess when I found you I found peace in you You were my everything but You chose someone else leaving me behind I was a mess but it seems like I am worse than a mess now. I wanted to make your life perfect but I couldn't I know you've gone through a lot But you never knew what I was going through I knew I wasn't perfect for you Still I tried to be by your side Taking an oath that I'll never leave you behind I wish you could ever understand me the way I understood you.
In the Valley
I knew somewhere out there, my parents were worried sick. Somewhere out there, my friends wondered about me. I knew that a world like this wouldn't last forever, and I had to make it last. But I could always retell it.Complete

Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger.
