Damian Maclean, known as Blade, was once a soldier - the leader of an elite unit of men who he saw as not just mates or fellow soldiers, but brothers, the only family he had. When a tragedy in Afghanistan kills his whole unit, leaving him the only survivor, Blade returns to a world that no longer makes sense to him. Wracked with guilt but determined to give his brothers peace, he vows to ride his Harley to the homes of their families and give them the mens' dog tags. But when Blade discovers a web of lies and corruption that all connect back to that fateful day, he must decide how he will finally give peace not only to his brothers, but to himself.
