Icebound

Jax Stoner is not your average guy. His adopted mother died from cancer when he was young, making him feel called to become an oncologist when he's older. He has always been a perfectionist, and one of the more awkward kids, so it's hard for him to make friends around town.

Things aren't easier for him when he becomes a student at Middlebrook University though. His father finds out he has medical issues, causing him to be more dependent on Jax. Then students mysteriously began to disappear on the campus, even some of Jax's personal acquaintances. The cause of their absences is revealed when Jax discovers a vault filled with massive blocks of ice- all containing the missing classmates.

Jax sets out to find out why these scholars are frozen in an oblivious slumber, and who did this to them. Little did he know that trying to solve this mystery will bring danger to those he loves most, and to himself.
