История Когтегрива, как тот выбрал жизнь одиночества, так как вониский закон ему казался глуп чтобы его соблюдать, но после того как он покинул лес его охватила злоба на воинский закон, он украл своих котят и начел учить Чернолистого боевым приемам так как Чернолистый целитель. После того как домашний котенок Дымок стал предводителем Пеплозвездом , Когтегрив сказал ему убить его, На протяжении всей истории Чернолистый старался украсть заветную 9 жизнь предводителя но вскоре Чернолистый застал предводителя на обрыве  с которого   виднелась бурлящая вода и.. Чернолистый скинул предводителя , но Ветроцап убил Чернолистого. А Когтегрив наблюдал за этим из под кустов, после смерти своего союзника Когтегрив покинул лес полностью Но его дочь  осталась жить в лесу а сын стал хорошим воином . Но все ровно его дети получили отца, который предал их. По этому его сын, так же не соблюдал воинского закона.. Но.. Это уже другая история.
