Rosalie narrowly escapes the wrath of her drunken father and discovers a letter written to her from her recently deceased mom.  Within the letter is money, a plane ticket and an address.  As Rosalie follows the instructions she finds herself at the care of an Aunty she never knew about things take a turn.  she soon befriends and captures the hearts of the boys also staying  with her Aunt Joyce, Ashton, Luke, Michael and Calum.  However no-one knows about her dark family secret except for Aunt Liz.
