Delextra Thunder is now reunited with her birth parents after living with her mother Gothel like adoptive mom. She feels happy and like she can breathe after years of being trapped in a closet. But, after an incident that results in the hatred of the super-powered, a company known as Cilix introduces a pill under the name Project Powerless. It will block or erase all mutant, alien, or genetic powers that one may possess, and Delextra might be the next victim of its consequences. Will she be able to overcome the overpowering urge to be normal, or will the love and support from family and friends be enough?

My Misconceptions
As an orphan, Emma Johnson never exactly believed in miracles or magic of any kind. Or even the proclaimed superheroes everyone loved. That all changed the fateful night when she was mugged and attacked. At that point in her life, she had come to the conclusion that she wouldn't amount to much, and as she lied half-conscious on the ground, she couldn't help but think that she deserved this kind of death. She didn't want it, but it seemed appropriate to someone with nothing to call her own. Then in swoops in her own personal superman, saving her and taking her back to his place where she wakes up the next day. She is then surprised to find that everything she thought was fake before, was suddenly coming to life before her eyes.
