Spoiler alert: she's Harry Potter's twin sister. 

Lizzie Potter never noticed anything special about her brother, really what sister does? They quarreled and teased each other in tandem with defending each other against the Dursley's.

But then a pair of letters came in the mail, a giant knocked down their door, and Dudley got a pig's tail. 

Harry became a star and Lizzie became "Harry's sister". What was big deal about his scar? Why did Snape hate them so much? Why did some cranky old wizard with no nose matter at all?

Lizzie liked mystery novels, she even liked playing detective, but she absolutely hated having to pick up after her headstrong brother.

In this story this is exactly what happens. They meet on the train to Hogwarts in their first year and become best friends. They always felt that they had some connection but didn't know what that connection meant. Harry is always protective of her and also gets a bit jealous when she speaks to other guys. They find out that thier twins in their third year.

Dudley would have bothered him less and returning to Privet drive every summer would have been more fun, especially with Dudley starting to be afraid of the two wizards, especially Esmeralda, who had always been tougher than her brother.
