The wild west can be an unforgiving place in the best of times without creating enemies with a widely feared and notorious gang in your hometown.
After successfully fleecing the psychotic Mason Pike of a couple of thousand dollars and evading his attempts of assassination, Pike was forced to put out a bounty, fabricating a bunch of malicious crimes in order to get his man.
With the murderous gang and the entire state on his tail, will Everitt Holloway be able to clear his name, setting himself free to live the rest of his life or will he get caught up to by one of the many self-proclaimed 'bounty hunters'?

** I do plan on editing and adding (smut) to this story this summer 2026 :) Katherine Reed grew up in the west in a small, close knit town in the height of the wild west with her family, until a series of tragedies strike, leaving her the only one of her small family alive. Jackson Walsh is a highly decorated U.S. Marshall who has brought down multiple gangs of outlaws in the wild west. When he is sent to Emerald Valley, he expects to only find gunfire, but what he isn't expecting, is to find love, especially after the brutal loss of his wife and unborn child. Can Kate and Jackson overcome unforeseen obstacles and bullets to find their happy ever after? TRIGGER WARNING: due to the time frame in which the story is set, there are topics of slavery, violence, sexual assault, and hate crimes/organizations.Concluida
