Far into the future, remains of humanity live among trash in a city known as the Refuge. Humankind divided into sectors, known as the Importants, the Unimportants, and the Isolates. The Isolates were kicked out to roam the mountains of trash. The Importants and Unimportants live together, but the Importants have better roles in the Refuge. 

After the Crisis, more threats emerged. Scientists had engineered a biological robotic creatures to help eat trash. Consequently, the creatures evolved and began to eat the flesh of animals, including humans. 

All in all, when 17 year old Ash gets swept out in a flash flood, he learned the secrets of the past, why the creatures eat flesh, and why the Isolates are sent out among the trash. Finally, Ash manages to get back to the Refuge. He tries to convince people to believe what he saw, but will they believe him? Or will he get sent out to the mountains of trash again as an Isolate?All Rights Reserved

And something bad does happen when Emmi is kidnapped, and it is no one's fault but Charlotte's. Through this obligation alone, Charlotte feels like it is her responsibility to get Emmi back, to right her wrong. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself. Rebecca, his lover, traveled in time for multiple occasions trying to find a solution to save humankind and the planet from severe contamination. Once, she saw his lover dying in the future for rejecting a direct order from the government. Rebecca Alingston decides to forcefully transform Dillon into a super robot which will be known as H.O.P.E. As part of her plan, Hope will save humankind and Earth, then later in the future will save her. After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity. In his journey he finds a friend, Evans an optimist person who will literally change his life forever.
