The beloved story of the piano prodigy returns as he embarks on a journey from being an awkward boy to a full fledged adult. Although just barely on the cusp of manhood, Arima Kousei already studies in his dream school, has a decent set of true friends, and is together with the most popular girl in the campus. However, there is one problem. A vacuum of space lies in the middle of his chest that used to house something very precious to him.
Join Kousei as he tells his story through his own eyes, along with a few friends to help him out, on how he faces the tumultuous life of a teenager trying to move forward from a painful yet colorful memory. It begins just barely four years after he met the love of his life, Miyazono Kaori.
Author's Note:
This is the author's first entry in this site. His works before usually featured writing backstories for roleplaying builds in games and fantastical worlds from his imagination. The change in scenery is due to the author's "traumatic, but wonderfully memorable" experience from watching the anime series, "Shigatsu Wa Kimi No Uso". Don't get him wrong though. Even being a self proclaimed "otaku by heart", the show and manga is arguably his favorite to date. Although the ending is justifiably reasonable enough to cap such a beautiful story, he just really can't come to terms with it yet and decided to make a version of a sequel himself. Please bear with him.

Nagito Komaeda, the Ultimate Violinist, a soft and sensitive boy, was friends with Hajime Hinata, Chiaki Nanami, Souda Kuzuichi & Ibuki Mioda. He was in a band called 'Vocaloid' with his friends except Hajime. Which made him sad but when he hears Hajime's name, his face would turn red. Why? who knows.... Hajime Hinata, a normal and hard-working student, was childhood friends with Nagito and Chiaki. He wasn't in the Music Club with his friends, instead, he was in the Literature Club. Though, he would come by and visit the Music Club. Chiaki would somtimes notice Hajime's cheeks get red when talking to Nagito. Weird... I might make a prequal of this AU and a Tumblr account for this book if you guys want (For the prequal i could add a few major adjustments with the plot and characters. And with a diff title of course)Concluida

All of his life, Kousei Arima was a boy that was just about automatic as you could get when playing the piano. Then, one day, a free-spirited violinist comes into her life...... ....but then, Kousei finds out his fate may be in jeopardy. What will become of Kaori? Tsubaki? Watari? And most importantly, Kousei's rivals? Will Kousei be able to express his feelings towards Kaori, and can she save Kousei from his hell before it is too late? ----- As you can tell, this is an alternate retelling of Your Lie in April. But the fates have been reversed (and before you ask, Kousei is the ill one, not Kaori, who is far from that in this story), which will make for quite a gripping, if not heart-wrenching story, maybe more so than the original. ----- Please note, I do not write fanfics often, but I feel this is a story the needs to be told. I do hope you enjoy this story, however.
