Until she runs into a mysterious person that is dress differently from everyone else at first she wants nothing to do with him, afraid that he is from her past. She keeps away from him as she can and the more she tries the more it seems life is bringing her to him every time she turns around. Will she let him help her to finally get rid of her past that's been haunting her for years or will she keep on running away from everything? Of controlling people believeing people to be stripped of free will. But the Assassins stride for order but of free will and of free decisions but over time the Assassins have been wiped out numbers dwindled to almost nothing. All but few exist and the Templars have a foot hold on the world......but one person can undone all of what the Templars have built could this person raise the Assassins brotherhood into a new era? Or will the Templars continue to rule for their endgame?

Alexandra has to keep her gender a secret or she could be killed, but with her job as dangerous as it is she could be killed anyway. Aaron gets more and more suspicious of his silent partner and tries to do everything he can to try to make him reveal his secret, but 'Alexander' thwarts him every single time. Will the two be able to trust each other even with their secrets getting in the way?

How did she mess that up? She hardly swoons at the sight of him like most other fangirls, although she most definitely is one for him. But she has serious work to do. She's now stuck either explaining the rest of her story or potentially killing him because of her stupidity. She couldn't kill Theo James, but would he be much help if she absolutely had to give him a job? And if she did, how long could she keep herself from him?

When Lotus, the Captains right hand man, was retiring, the Captain wanted to replace him with her. Lotus felt a woman was unfit to fill such a responsible position, and took his rage out on them, killing the Captain after a days battle. He banishes Erin, sending troops after her, for her head. However, she was smarter than that, and saw that coming. She travels with Rune, a man who saved her life during the previous days battle, reluctantly. Rune is a secret assassin for Queen Eiva, who has sent him on a mission to find out about this upcoming war, threatened by a group called the Pandoreos. He has his own secrets that not even the queen knows, however, Dakota, a wolf who can speak to Erin, can tell he's hiding something. Erin eventually struggles with her feelings toward Rune. When the threat of the Pandoreos worsens, Rune is called back to queen Eiva. Rune commands Erin to travel with Kier, a man who has a special hatred for these Pandoreos, and warn Queen Beatrice, and King Cecerion about the upcoming war, in hope for an alliance with Queen Eiva. That is, if the humans can stay one step ahead of the Pandoreos.
