Zoe is a rare type of human at age twenty-two. She has never slept with anyone before and isn't about to. Her type of human is called Virgin-Blood by the Vampires around the world. Her best friend is a Feeder who sleeps with the Vampires that visit her. Sarah is one of those overly confident people who is always concerned with those that visit Zoe. Molly is the one who lets them know who is visiting, while their boss, Abby, just greedily takes the money and dishes it out when she sees fit.
The feeders are only allowed two days off a week, and Sarah and Zoe are always off together. The days off is when they get paid and the girls spend their money wisely, often only spending half of their pay. Zoe was sold to the feeders at age sixteen for a hefty price and Sarah has watched over her since.
The rules of the feeders is simple: What you take, you give back. While most Vampires do give the feeders some of their blood, you get that one that doesn't, and it just about kills the feeder.
Zoe met a young man, Jarrod, who claims her as his personal feeder and when he brings some of his mates along, one catches sight of Zoe and is intrigued to know more about her.
When Zoe is left for dead one night, this stranger helps her out and is determined to make Zoe his.
Will he succeed or will Zoe push him away before she finds out the truth?
