Despite finally achieving world peace and cultivating the means to live forever, environmental degradation due to uninhabitable weather conditions is forcing humankind to evacuate, or be left to certain death. Most of the people live in utter resignation, knowing that only a fraction of the population will be granted the salvation of departure. After suffering a world spread pandemic, world war three and finally a deadly virus that turns infected humans into zombies, the human race is pushed to the brink of extinction. Uniting the surviving governments into a single organization known as the New Alliance, the last survivors of humanity turn there efforts towards creating a fleet of starships to search for a new homeworld. Just as things begin to look up a fleet of unknown space ships enters the earth's orbit and lays siege to the planet. Forced to retreat, the New Alliance evacuates anyone they can and travels into the unknown, pursued and hunted by vampire-like creatures with an insatiable thirst for blood. Those unlucky enough to be left on Earth are captured and enslaved to serve as both labor force to fuel the alien species technology and to provide them with there life's blood. As things look grim and hope seems lost, a brave officer steps up to change humanity's fate.

People are starving, and the whole economy is falling apart. Since the government needs a new way to get out of this terrible situation, they are finding new ways to make money. Fortunately for them, science has blessed them with a new discovery- a new blood type. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus. Unfortunately, your attempt has failed, and you are now trapped in a cell waiting for testing. You are their newest subject, subject number 43.

After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?
