Katelyn was born the same day as her 5 brothers. The only girl of the sextuplets. As she grows up she hangs out with the boys and doesn't get a lot of girl time except with her friend Dayna. As she gets older her bonds with her brothers start to fade, pieces of drama tear their family apart. Specific family members ruin the family. When they move everything gets chaotic.
Just when everything starts to get better, Katelyn starts to fall for one of her brothers friends. Choices made throughout this story seem to follow Katelyn closely as she tries to fix relationships between her siblings. Boys aren't mature. It's a lot harder than she thinks. Does this one boy make everything easier though? Which brother leaves the family and doesn't want to ever come back? Does Katelyn get to be close with her brothers again?

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.Complete
