Twin sisters, Rey and Nova, were abandoned on the dessert planet, Jakku, and both girls are desperate for a life out beyond the sand dunes and scavenger tools.

When a more powerful force calls for them, beyond the stars visible from Jakku alone, both sisters must invest in a journey that will take them far, far away from all they know - and possibly far from each other.

Nova spends her days scaling the sand-covered mountains with her sister, Rey, and her nights staring out into the dark abyss of the galaxy or engrossed in another powerful dream.

Her dreams were frequent and took her far away into other planets or galaxies, and soon they would pave a winding path into her future.
