After meeting up with two unexpected adversaries, they begin to look around for it. They have no idea if this creature is a steve or something else entirely. Forest Steve eventually understands what they need to do to discover the missing steves and kill whoever is behind this after they meet up with some newer steves that no one has ever heard of. Will they find out who it is? Will they all stay together as a team? Will they all make it out alive? Only time can tell now.

I wanted to give a thank you for SS properly. I knew what I was going to do in Chormatober before it started and decided afterward I wanted to give it a proper book. This is an ending I hope the world of Steve Saga got despite what happened. (I consider The End Crystal the true ending.) After the explosion, Alex and Guardian are the only ones left alive. They must choose to live in this Illusion forever, or take a chance and return to the world like Sabre always wanted. Sabre now passed, will no longer return. Their choices will decide if his sacrifice is truly worth it. Or would it have been better if he never appeared at all?
