"Can't you see? There are no boundaries to what we could do! We could save them! There are no reasons to just run away. Those were smashed into spacedust!" "No. That'll be your freaking ass if you don't stop babbling and walk faster, weirdo." ... Misty doesn't believe in limits, and that is probably the only thing she is fully skeptical with. The problem? That's something to say about the most optimistic, curious and overconfident girl in the small city of Wesford: She believes in aliens, monsters and many others things. Like the chance of Xavier Lars being actually a nice guy (which she knows he doesn't seem to be at all). So she's that quirky new girl at school (but not in town) who's not afraid to confront other human beings (mostly bad guys) and finds herself (ironically) infatuated with a jerk. And that could be it, right? But no. Now the whole city is being attacked by the strangest creatures you could come up with, a group of people trying to be heroes but failing miserably and an evil businessman getting obsessed with her. All in all while she just wants to squeeze Xavier so hard he'd stop thinking about those terrible, terrible limits. ... A short novel about possibilities, surreal stuff and redemption. Inspired by Stephen King, Steven Spielberg and Netflix's Stranger Things. Cover made by @TimeaKS.
