In this world you're born with five tally marks anywhere on on your body. When those marks start fading. You have the remaining days to live. Say you have four now because you didn't see it the first time and now you have four days to live. No one knows when they're gonna leave as anyone's can up and go anytime. When you turn Eighteen(18) years old. You get two new marks. One on your tongue to express your social status and success in the world. It's 1-5 of how many tallies you get. One(1) being the highest and most success you'll get. Five(5) being the lowest and lest successful. Anything in between shall be as it is. Two(2) is still successful. Three(3) is still semi successful, and four(4) is barely hanging on. The other mark is a mark that shows where your soulmate is going to touch you for the first time. it can be anywhere and most will dislike where it's placed, but it disappears as soon as they touch you there! If your soulmate dies then your tally marks start doing down. You don't have long after they die. some get lucky and they are replaced by another who lost someone the same day, But that's very rare to happen.
