In search of a cure for a spate of overpowering nightmares, Dan embarks on a manic life-changing adventure that takes him along a path determined by a mixture of incompetence and good fortune. His journey begins with a visit to a sleep clinic where the sharp tongue of a resident nurse does more to raise his low self esteem than it does for his insomnia. Subsequently his life is turned on its head by the appearance of a mysterious old man who is able to transcend both the real world and his dreams. The man informs him that he has a gift—the ability to travel to his alternate selves in parallel universes, all made possible via subconscious connections in his mind. Suddenly his dreams open gateways to new worlds—worlds in which a war has been raging for many years and in which he, the fabled Nexus, was foretold to be a leading player. Sucked into the battle, he embarks on a quest through a daunting world in the hope of preserving his sanity, his identity and ultimately his life…

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

The girl, or gregori, suddenly yelled in panic, "He took it!!! He took my wings!!! He's going to start it!!!!" She went and threw herself at Mike in panic, causing Uriel to nearly dislodge his flames at her if it weren't for Mike's glare to stand our ground down. Reincarnation. That word actually sucks more than I could describe. When you're related to the Angel Five, expect tons of being babied until you remember every detail and unleash your abilities. Sounds easy, right? Sadly, not everything goes into plan. When a demon claims to have a bond with you as some angels slowly lose their lives, things can get really icky, especially when one dark male seems to know more than he let on. I am Anariel, and I am the Guardian of the Veil, and this is me asking for help. © Copyright 2016 by Freesia Eversor. Under no circumstances can this be copied or reproduced.
