In search of a cure for a spate of overpowering nightmares, Dan embarks on a manic life-changing adventure that takes him along a path determined by a mixture of incompetence and good fortune. His journey begins with a visit to a sleep clinic where the sharp tongue of a resident nurse does more to raise his low self esteem than it does for his insomnia. Subsequently his life is turned on its head by the appearance of a mysterious old man who is able to transcend both the real world and his dreams. The man informs him that he has a gift—the ability to travel to his alternate selves in parallel universes, all made possible via subconscious connections in his mind. Suddenly his dreams open gateways to new worlds—worlds in which a war has been raging for many years and in which he, the fabled Nexus, was foretold to be a leading player. Sucked into the battle, he embarks on a quest through a daunting world in the hope of preserving his sanity, his identity and ultimately his life…

This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?
