Destiny has a funny way in getting what it wants. And unfortunately for Jamie Montgomery, destiny had other plans for her. 
Growing up in the twenty-first century in Sacramento, left Jamie living a normal life that most college kids go through. She lived with her parents while going to Sac State to study English and Theatre. Her mother was always disappointed she didn't go into something more medical. After all, Jamie's mother was a scrub nurse. But here was Jamie wanting to become a teacher to work with students. Unfortunately for her, Jamie never made it home after rehearsals.
