Rayne's life was falling apart. Within twenty-four hours, she lost her boyfriend and her job. Fortunately for Rayne, the world was also falling apart. After a virus sweeps over the United States, the survivors are forced to relinquish their pasts in order to successfully adapt to their new situation. Rayne finds that she is far more suited for the new world and begins to wonder what really matters in life, the distinction between good and evil, and what she is willing to do to survive.
