Todoroki Shoto. Endeavor's "masterpiece." The one who would surpass All Might. The 'perfect' little girl to the number 2 hero.

Or that's what everyone thought.

That was before she disappeared.

Before blue flames engulfed the Todoroki home.

Like everyday, she was pushed to be the best, pushed to break herself. Her father never seemed to have enough, he wanted more. More than what her other siblings could give him.

After an intensive day of training, at only eight years old, the left side of Shoto's face had been burned, leaving a rugged and burning scar forever in her mind and on her body. Her father had gone too far.

Her older brother, who had disappeared, came back. Burning the old home in the process of rescuing his little sister from the monster that had been allowed to raise her. Leaving Endeavor alone, to think about how all of his children had now left him. How all his mistakes came back to him.

Touya enrolled Shoto into school when she was twelve, and she excelled all her classes, even making it into UA in recommendation. Her older brother may have been a villain, but he supported her decision to be a hero, in hopes that one day, she would let their father know he had no control on them.

It was at UA, that Shoto met him. Izuku Midoriya, a strong willed and passionate boy, who helped her realize, that it wasn't her fathers power she was rejecting, it was her own.
