"Violet?" He says to me, his eyes stabbing into mine with the look of despair. His eyes were red from crying, his skin puffy, and every now and then he would let out a sniffle.
"Yeah Gerard?" There's a slight pause and all I can hear is the rain pounding on the window. His eyes unlock their gaze with mine and travel down my face, landing on my lips.
His mouth slightly opens as if he's battling with what words to say. His eyes have a new look to them, a look I've never seen before.
"Kiss me."
