Michael can't help but smile as a flight ticket to Philippines unraveled before him. It has always been his dream to go to the Philippines and learn more about the country, especially the Filipino people. After he broke up with Sarah and decided that they should just be friends, he became busy on his career. He thinks the tour of the Philippines can give him at least a meaningful break.
He then smiled as he saw the money that he's been saving since high school to be used in touring the country. However, the money was too much for just a Batanes trip. He plans to use up all his savings. And when Ormoc City and Bacolod City came into view. He knew it's the right places to have a tour as well.
After a tour in Batanes, he arrived at Ormoc City. He went to places, met people, helped children, and was amused by the Christmas vibe of the place. He then decided to celebrate Christmas in the city, hoping to find more friends in Ormoc.
When he thought he's doing everything according to plan will he encounter something or rather someone unexpectedly. He meets Florence Pugh, a family-rebel, all pissed off kind of girl. After she sprayed pepper spray on his face, Michael plans to make up to her by letting her accompany him to Misa de Gallo and letting her tour with him to various places in Ormoc City, letting her meet his friends and help other people. All for nine nights.
But what if the simple nine night tour and Misa de Gallo becomes something more meaningful? Will Michael be able to change Florence's life? Or will he make it worse? Will he have a memorable break?
