You would think after what Analiese went through she would get the happily ever after she deserved. The one with the prince charming, two children, nothing awful able to happen? But then again if you knew Analiese, and her rough past you'd know nothing comes easy, and in order to get that happily ever after there's always a price to be paid. Declan Carter, a handsome boy who's yet another victim who you'd expect to get that happily ever after. All his wishes, desires, and dreams should come true right? All he wants is to leave the city where all unwanted memories lie. Though he's trouble, and maybe he's gotten into a few run-ins with the police. Remember that saying? "Never read a book by it's cover"? Many would say that doesn't apply to him, but maybe searching deeper into the cover you might just see that it does. Have you ever thought of the reason why these two don't get that happily ever after is because the one they expect is the one there not destined to receive? That in order to get the one they want they have to receive the unexpected first. Throw in a series of problems, a Bad Boy, and a broken heart, and you just might have the right mix to getting that happily ever after. *** I was never one to be rude without reason, or listen to rumors. I was oblivious to the gossip going around about Declan Carter going to jail a number of times, leaving girls broken hearted, or coming to school with a few bruises, with no answers to why. I just went on with my troublesome life getting only glimpses of the Bad Boy himself. Though maybe I should have listened, because I could have prevented the rude awakening I got to all of those qualities first hand. "Do you think your some kind of hero now?" I asked venom dripping in my voice. He smirked stepping closer to me bringing his hand into the back of my hair, and I didn't dare move for fear of our lips coming in contact "No Analiese, I'm more like a hero in the making." *** Give my first bad boy book a try! -Lexi

There was something about him. Or maybe there was something about me. I didn't want him in my life but he ran into it; literally. He liked to hide in trees, irritate me, and read books; despite the fact that it went against his image. He was more than meets the eye. Although at first I didn't want to know more. He lured me in like an unsuspecting moth to an open flame. Knowing the dangers I went in, wanting to know more. It could hurt me but it was too irresistible and I was drawn in. This isn't how the bad boy made me bad or about how I made him good. This is about how we changed each other lives. In good and bad ways. Whatever that means. "I don't bite.... hard." He smirked at me, winking one of his bright hazel eyes at me. It only made me more frustrated. "Yeah but Hunter, if you did you'd probably give me rabies." I rolled my eyes looking back at the book in my hand.
