Moby Morton's life has come to a crashing halt at the death of her best friend, her grandmother. They spent every weekend together and did practically everything with each other. And now that Grandma L is dead, it seems as if there is nothing left for Moby to hold on to, except her father and younger brother. But when she meets 17-year-old, wheelchair-bound Felix, things start looking up. His witty sense of humour and fun almost matches her grandmother's, and even though Felix has also experienced pain like Moby has, he makes the best of his situation. Then she starts to realize that maybe life is going to be much, much better than she thought...
