Her golden hair set her out from the rest the world's people, and it captures the attention of a certain prince, There are many questions that need to be answered, how did she get here? Why her? Will she ever go back home? She goes on a journey with her mp3 player, a scarred prince, and a wise silly old man to find these answers and save the world.

She thinks she's the daughter of a waterbender and was born in the Southern Water Tribe but she has yet to discover her story. Aya knows she's different and she knows she has things to discover about herself. Wanting to tell her siblings and Aang about her firebending, she's scared of how they will react and decides to keep it to herself.
