The folktales of the Kitsune filled young Izuku with excitement, he always held a passion to be a Kitsune Hunter when he grew up. His mother, being the villages spirit docter, always told young Izuku these stories about these spiritual foxes that had such great abilities and powers. Little did Izuku know he would become one..

Shoto was born into being a hunter. Always training, 24/7. Not his choice though. He got his first dagger at 7 years old, 4 years younger than recommend. He wanted to prove he could help the world without his father's help, and for the most part he did. One day, he escapes his household and runs off to the spiritual forest. He went for some peace, something to enjoy by himself. He ended up enjoying it with someone who accompanied him to this walk.
•I'm not an expert on Kitsune's but I did do my research. If I get things wrong or go of on my own thing, I do not mean to offend anyone or any culture.

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home. After sneaking out one night and getting bit by a wolf, a 12-year-old Izuku goes home, treats the bite, and goes to sleep. A few days pass by, and strange things start happening to Izuku. His senses seem to triple in strength, his vision gets foggier, and his teeth and nails get sharper seemingly overnight. To top it all off, when he goes to sleep one night, he has the weirdest dream known to man, and wakes up to all sorts of scents and sees his own body, fast asleep. ...wait what? After recomposing himself, he sneaks out once more to find the wolf that bit him. Once he finds them, they tell Izuku all there is about being a wolfwalker and how to be a wolf.
