One thing I noticed as I was checking my library on wattpad was that all the stories I have read, about school life and teen fiction -and trust I have read A LOT- may have had different plot but each and every of them had no focus on the real struggles of school, studying for the final exams and all the phases and difficulties students have to deal with during their senior year. Student life, even though it is great to be in a relationship and have worth-keeping friendships, is something more than that. Pretty much no one mentions the student-parent relationship, the psychological and mental disorders they have during the preparation for the finals. If not in all countries, the educational system promotes finals as the only way of becoming successful and having a decent life in the near future. As a teen writer myself, I found the lack of books about the REAL teen life a motive for me to start writing a book about school's role in the psychology of the young generation and how it affects the way they see their future potentials.

"Summer vacations is what every student wishes during the school year. They get to have free time and have fun for a long period of time without worrying about school and studying. But this summer was a summer that the whole West River High would never forget. The sudden death of a student named Ivy Collins shocked not only her friends and classmates but the whole city. Everyone seemed to have something to say about the accident as summer vacations were coming to an end. It had been the hot issue for over a month. Who killed young Ivy? Many suspected it was either her mom or her dad, as they didn't have the best connection and chemistry and they often argued according to Margaret's statement. Margaret White had been Ivy's best friend since elementary school. The two girls would be inseparable, until Ivy started distancing herself from everyone at the beginning of last semester. Her last semester. Who killed Ivy Collins? "

✨COMPLETED✨ I took a few steps before I stopped to face him again. "Jay?" I said, barely above a whisper. "Hmm?" "I love you. You know that right?" I asked, kind of unsure. "of course. Of course I do." He said, scrunching his eyebrows as if he doesn't understand why I would randomly say that. "I love you very much." I repeated, every bone in my body aching from this pain, this betrayal. What I'm doing, or going to do, is definitely some form of betrayal. But I don't have a choice, right? He needs to understand that I don't have a choice. Or do I? "I do too. But...Why are you saying it like that?" He asked, feeling a little anxious. "Like what?" I replied, praying to dear God he doesn't say something that'll make me cry. "Like you're saying goodbye." 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Alexis Pierce is just another high school clumsy story. Bullying that ends in tragedy is the worst-case scenario. When Sandra Grace learned that her brother died because of bullying at school, she didn't hesitate to enroll in Madtown U to uncover the truth behind his death...and take justice into her own hands. ♔♔♔ Not Guilty. The courtroom door opened. It revealed the very people who had hurt her brother. 'They're too powerful. They own the town.' With rage in her eyes, she was ready to attack. Someone bumped her. The guy didn't even stop to apologize, with a bored expression on his face, he barely glanced at her. He then resumed playing games on his Nintendo Switch. He's Kidrey St. Creed, aka God, the infamous leader of the school fraternity her dead brother had attended. Kidrey St. Creed's family connections knew no boundaries in this town. He's also known as the guy who had all the luck in the world. "Move." A cold voice. From TOP Williams. His family had been in the police force for centuries, supposedly the protectors of the town, but she knew his family had dark secrets too. The other three, Jon Yamanouchi, Mateo Perez, and Ted James, were equally connected in this Madtown. This group was so influential that they could do anything and get away with it. They high-fived each other before crowding around Kidrey. Then they left. But she was still there, rooted to the spot. It was easy to say she could kill them right then and there, but it was entirely different when facing them in person. Their presence was intimidating. It shook her. But still, one thing was for sure... They might have won today, but what they missed was that this time, they had messed with the wrong person. "I, Sandra Grace, sister to Kevin Grace, vow to avenge the death of my brother." Lex Talionis. An eye for an eye. A life for a life. (18+ only) • Entry to Wattys 2024 [Completed Category]
