Fiction
Mystery
One thing I noticed as I was checking my library on wattpad was that all the stories I have read, about school life and teen fiction -and trust I have read A LOT- may have had different plot but each and every of them had no focus on the real struggles of school, studying for the final exams and all the phases and difficulties students have to deal with during their senior year. Student life, even though it is great to be in a relationship and have worth-keeping friendships, is something more than that. Pretty much no one mentions the student-parent relationship, the psychological and mental disorders they have during the preparation for the finals. If not in all countries, the educational system promotes finals as the only way of becoming successful and having a decent life in the near future. As a teen writer myself, I found the lack of books about the REAL teen life a motive for me to start writing a book about school's role in the psychology of the young generation and how it affects the way they see their future potentials. "Summer vacations is what every student wishes during the school year. They get to have free time and have fun for a long period of time without worrying about school and studying. But this summer was a summer that the whole West River High would never forget. The sudden death of a student named Ivy Collins shocked not only her friends and classmates but the whole city. Everyone seemed to have something to say about the accident as summer vacations were coming to an end. It had been the hot issue for over a month. Who killed young Ivy? Many suspected it was either her mom or her dad, as they didn't have the best connection and chemistry and they often argued according to Margaret's statement. Margaret White had been Ivy's best friend since elementary school. The two girls would be inseparable, until Ivy started distancing herself from everyone at the beginning of last semester. Her last semester. Who killed Ivy Collins? "

Ivy Mendler's a normal teenage girl, with normal friends, normal interests, and normal crushes (although she won't admit it to herself). Her canines aren't THAT long, and her skin isn't THAT pale, but her eyes certainly are red. Despite this, she still leads a normal life, has a summer job, and has gotten used to the terrified stares. Ending up in the hospital one day because of herself is enough to make her realize that there's something wrong though. Ivy, along with Camden (her friend who she's definitely just friends with) decides to finally question things and realizes that she's not who she thinks she is. Can Ivy still lead her normal life, even after uncovering an Earth-shattering secret? I have to write a book for an English assignment and I'm severely behind, so I thought that putting it on here would give me more motivation. The good news is that I'm forced to finish it if I don't want to end with an F. English isn't my first language though, so keep your expectations low. Each chapter is around 10,000 words. Enjoy!
