When Alessandra first leaves for college, all she wants to do is find herself and explore everything that she had been restricted from. All of her life she was sheltered by her mother, although done in love, it left Alessandra feeling socially stunted.

Alessandra meets many interesting characters along her journey, but she had no idea how each of them would change her life for better or for worse.
