Snippet Bruno's POV:
"Hey..", it was spoken so softly, "It's okay mi amor. I'm right here." She smiled a half smile with so much kindness in her eyes. Her wrists turning to grab mine. I hadn't realized I never let go of them. I was staring at her beautiful face, not able to speak. The corner of her lips turned up more and she reached her hand out, placing her palm to my face, brushing a strand of hair away and just holding it there. She was beautiful in a way I haven't seen before. Both wild and delicate, like a fire burning and dancing in the calmest of seas.
Please let this be real. Please.
"I'm here, mi corazón." she said as she kissed the back of my hand, the one holding ours by my heart.
I don't know what to even say to her. If this is real, I must look pretty clueless. But I don't care.
"I have to go now Brunito. This is all the time I could give you. I'm sorry. I'm so tired. Please wait for me, mi amor." she said it with so much sadness, tears falling down her cheeks.
"Wait, please..", I called back as the light behind her seemed to swallow her, blinding me.
She's out there. She has to be. She asked me to wait for her. I can find her.
I will find her.
