Nico di Angelo was falling out of love. After over 10 months of dating Will Solace, Nico has observed many new adverse changes in the son of Apollo. Will was cold, no longer the shining knight that Nico once regarded him as. Nico finds himself running from his feelings yet again, stirred up by two all-powerful demigods that have recently started barking up his tree.

Percy Jackson and Jason Grace are back at Camp Half Blood for the summer. They seek a time of reconciliation, a time where they and their girlfriends can draw a breath before embarking back to Camp Jupiter for their sophomore year of college. What they discover instead shocks them in ways they could have never imagined. Feelings stir in the two heroes chests, caused by one son of Hades. These contradictive feelings they weren't aware they possessed lead to a road of uncertainty. Feelings fatal enough to drive two non-biological brothers into a frenzy of cutthroat competitiveness to win over the broken heart of Nico di Angelo.

Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate? Apparently, Chaos decided he liked them so much he adopted them and made them commanders of his army! In the process of commandering for 10 thousand years, the two develop some very healthy crushes, and to us fangirls' delight, get together as a couple! The Fates aren't on their side, though. Chaos got called to Olympus to clean up the gods' little mess. Gaia AND Kronos AND Chaos' sister Order are loose in America, and Chaos' army has been summoned to help deal with them. and guess where the army'll be staying? In CHB, of course! Aside from fighting the bad guys' army, Percy and Nico also have to deal with nosy campers *cough* Annabeth *cough* trying to look under their hoods, stalking them, and generally not minding their own business. It's complicated. Just like everything related to demigods.

Nico Di Angelo's school is taking the whole junior year on a trip to Greece. Following the no gender mingling school policy, Nico groups with his best buds Percy Jackson and Jason Grace. All is well and good before Will Solace joins their bubble. Nico gets a strange, tingly, ticklish feeling in his stomach when he's around Will. It doesn't help when they have to pair off to explore the Parthenon and Percy and Jason take off, leaving Nico alone with Will. It also doesn't help when the two boys decide to share a bed at the hotels. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma.
