The Ghost of Sanders Hall

When twelve-year-old Virgil boards the crowded horse-drawn coach in London, he looks forward to a new life with his great uncles at Sanders Hall, an old manor house in the English countryside. Anything will be better, he thinks, than the grim London orphanage where he has lived since his parents' death.
But Virgil doesn't expect the ghost of his cousin Roman, who haunts the cavernous rooms and dimly lit hallways of Sanders and concocts a plan to use Virgil to help him achieve his murderous goals. Will Virgil be able to convince the others in the household of the imminent danger and stop Roman before it's too late?
