It was a normal nation meeting. They held one annually at least 3 times a year. However, this meeting ended up turning the world on their heads. Their parents, the ancients, who have long since passed on cannot stand to watch their children suffer. With this a plan is formed to help, even if only just a little. A messenger from the ancients arrive with a book and wishes of happiness for the nations. They're stuck with no way out, in a space where time is separated from reality. They only have one way to leave, and that is to read. Through this book the true personality of the nations shine through. Pana: Flight from the Past
What happens when you try to tell your story, but no one is willing to listen to you? You run. Thousands of years before, the cataclysm destroyed the world. In a barrage of miniature apocalypses manufactured by the most powerful government in the world, the moon was torn apart, ice sheets expanded from the north, entire communities were systematically poisoned, the rainforests were burned. Thousands of years before that, magical stones with the ability to protect life were created and scattered throughout civilization. Now, Pana and their friend, the timid yet trustworthy dragon Waveskimmer, find one of those stones. Pana has only ever known the frozen northern village they were born in, but when they are forced to flee their home after an unfortunate misunderstanding, they discover that the world is bigger than they could have imagined, and that there are other pockets of survivors out there who are all facing their own hardships. Together with Waveskimmer, they begin traveling the world, meet new people, and try their best to undo the mistakes of the past.
