"You look absolutely delectable tonight, my dear." His voice is low, and I wouldn't have heard him if he wasn't so close to me. I shudder involuntarily, his word choice makes me feel as though there's a double meaning.
"May I kiss you?" His voice is a gentle whisper but it resonates within my body. I give a small nod and immediately his lips are on mine. I gasp quietly from the cold feeling, but warmth quickly floods through my entire body. This kiss is gentle and cautious, but wanting. His lips are extraordinary, molding so well against mine. But all too soon, he pulls away. I'm slightly out of breath, and I realize I've been holding it for a while. I look into his eyes again, and they're as dark as the night. His beautiful irises are almost completely covered by his pupils, and his breath... Oh my. It's even more ragged and uneven than mine. I caused this? I bite my lip slightly at the thought.
"Please, Gwen," he lets out a rough noise and I swear it sounds like a growl. "I won't be able to control myself if you do this again." My eyes widen as he moves his thumb to my bottom lip and gently pulls it from my teeth.
"C-Control yourself...?" I manage to squeak out and he chuckles darkly. I almost swoon at the sound.
"It wouldn't be very gentlemanly of me to say such words to you, Liebchen. Not yet, at least. Your name really is perfect for you." He sighs quietly and shakes his head with an adorable grin. My thighs quiver again. Not yet?
"I never asked for your name," I say, finding my voice. I keep my gaze at his chest. The silver pendant twinkles slightly as strobe a light hit it.
"You really want to know?" He asks quietly and I can hear the mischief in his voice. I nod.
"I'll tell you... If you let me take you home."
