The REBELLION has been defeated! EMPEROR PALPAPTINE has reigned unchallenged over the entire galaxy for 42 years. The Force Dyad has lied dormant, captured in the EMPEROR'S clutches.

On an abandoned planet deep in the UNKNOWN REGIONS, a REVOLUTION stirs. With barely any supplies, and no clear leader, they are in desperate need of help.

Months have passed since the end of the war against Emperor Palpatine, since Rey lost her dyad in the Force, Ben Solo, and found a new home on the Lars's moisture farm on Tatooine. Ever since she settled in on the desert planet, Rey started training a new order of Jedi, teaching them about the balance of the Force, taking her mind off of what happened on Exegol until after her lessons, because that's when she tries to reach out in the Force to search for him. For Ben Solo. But even after months of trying to reach out to him day after day, Rey still fails, believing he doesn't want to see her. She is frustrated and desperate, and about to give up hope until she finds out about a place existing within the Force, a place existing between time and space: the world between worlds. Could Ben be stuck in the world between worlds? Could he have been alive after all? And can Rey bring him back? All characters and planets are from Lucasfilm/Disney. The fic contains the world between worlds, but I added my own little spin to it. The art is by meadowhayle.

A sinister voice now whispers, and a flash of blue light reveals a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers filling the vastness of space as blue fire leaps between them. A powerful red laser of an unseen weapon obliterates the surface of a planet. Shrieks, whispers and screams and then the sound of a lightsaber igniting. A fiery red saber but behind that saber is Rey, her hand twitches and the saber becomes a double-pronged staff. A maniacal evil laugh cackles. Kylo woke with a start and sat upright on his bed. Written after the first trailer dropped and finished before the film was released. Contains references to previous films, novelisations and comics. I am writing this because I cannot STAND the ending of the Rise of Skywalker even though it needed to end that way and it was really well done. If I didn't ship Reylo, I would've loved the ending. Whelp, this is a fanfiction of how I would've liked it to end. I'm going to make it as similar to the movie as I can while adding my own touches (and a Ben Solo) to it.
