After the attack at St. Vladimir's Academy, Dimitri vanishes from the academy leaving Rose with nothing but a letter and haunted memories.
Abandoned by her lover and the lack of support from her best friend, Rose needs to cope with a life she never thought she would have and with the company of a person she once despised.
