"Shut the hell, your mouth!" Daniel's hands squeeze my waist as he pushes me against the wall, growing closer to me. The quietness striking me when the only thing I can see in the dark is my horrified reflection in his glowing blue eyes.

I can hear my breathing as I place my shaking arms beside me not knowing what to do with them. I can hear my heartbeat going at such a fast rate, I wouldn't even be able to count the beats. My chest rising and falling against Daniel's chest.

"Dan-

"Don't fucking speak," he growls in my ear, "just don't."

College is an opportunity for a new fresh start and that's exactly how Lou sees it. For a start making friends isn't so bad with her popular roommate Kayla. When Lou enters a friend group everything seems fine, until an apathetic and rude guy named Daniel won't stop messing around with her.
