Sam Turnble always had trouble fitting in, controlling his anger and staying in one school long enough to make friends. Entering his last years of education, he was determined to stick it out. His mother was exasperated, and after finding her son crawling on the ceiling one early morning, she was contacted by Stildegar School. Stildegar was a special school made only for those transitioning from human to Fae. Witches, Werewolves, Vampires and now a Fairy, all converged together at this castle built into a steep cliff. There had only ever been one other Fairy Changeling to enter that school and Sam felt oddly connected to him, even if he was banished to the dark realm almost 40 years prior. Haunted by ghosts of the past and torn between who he is and who he wants to be, Sam must unravel the mystery of his predecessor all the while falling in messy love with a Vampire Initiate.
