Nefeli, a girl who is a hybrid of a Pheonix and Witch, sassy, the quiet type. She has a bit of a temper, but whoever she gets close to she cares about very much. Sometimes too much she feels the need to protect them, at all costs. Nobody knows about her 'secret', but she sometimes doesn't know how to control it. So, here's the story about it.

We know you have powers; we can sense them on you. We can do this because we have powers too. We call it magic. If you want, we can show you.” “Prove it then.” ~^~^~^~^~ There was a monster inside of her – a dark thing that always tried to claw its way out, ripping her insides to shreds as it went. She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. I'm the kind of girl who keeps her own secrets. I'm in high school and I still believe fairies....because I believe I am one. I've never had REAL magic but I can control wind spirit, and speak to her. Others believed along with me...but they always end up forgetting, or leaving me because they think it's just a game. I've been by myself since 5th grade. Now the Great Tree said it's time to train four other girls because another girl has taken over the Spirit of Storms. When she does that...I can't control my own powers...the wind spirit. How am I I supposed to get others to believe in fairies and magic when I'm just starting high school.

Academy Initia is where elementals, people who can control elements at there whim, go to train their abilities. There is water/ice (other wise known as frost), earth, wind, and fire. Fire and Frost elementals are kept apart since they can potentially kill each other from a touch. Though, when the Academy is attacked, it forces the officials to have the students work together to become more powerful as one. Forcing the fire and water elementals to interact.
