Peyton Hill had grown used to her beautiful, sunny life in eastern Florida, where she lived for fifteen years. She was content and surrounded by those who loved her. However, when her parents decide to send her off to an elite boarding school in Massachusetts she suddenly finds herself undeniably lost in the haste of it all. Meanwhile, Connor Hockley has gone to the Milton Academy for all of his life and lives in a realm of security. His parents are extremely wealthy and have expectations for him that cause his mind to reel. When Connor meets the new-girl, Peyton, he realizes that perfection may be even harder to obtain than he originally thought. Will he become caught up in his parent's idea of him, or risk everything to save a girl that is desperately in need of help?

After her father ships her off to live with her mother for a little while for being "out of control", Julianna makes a promise to herself that she won't let them get the best of her. She swears she's going to have fun, even if trouble and consequences are hot on her tail - and they are exactly what follow. Sastifying one of the most eligible bachelors in town is the easiest way for Julianna to pass the time and she has no problem with indulging in her desires - even though he's her teacher. They vow to only use each other for their own selfish desires, but things soon turn sour when their relationship becomes deeper than just their physical attraction for each other.
