Zela is something special. Rare. Hunted. After her forest haven is raided and her sisters stolen away and sold to powerful creatures throughout the world, she takes refuge in the only place she knew she could hide. Liverean Detainment Center, also known as The Tower. A magical prison where the worst of the worst magical offenders were imprisoned. As long as she has food and a steady supply of enchanted hair dye, she'll be fine.
But when the dye runs out and her stunning red locks begin to bleed through, Zela is forced to make a decision about her future. Stay in the prison and be discovered and sold. Or find a way to escape and try to make it out in the world on her own.
Neither option seemed like a good one, but when she decided to befriend a raven, both plans dissolve into a hazy mess that Zela never saw coming.
