Things seem complex now but it gets even worse when Gerard is haunted down by a bitter ex boyfriend and a powerful demon, how will he manage to survive all that? And could his not-so-dead victim be his end or salvation? Tbfh I suck at description but I do encourage reading this, it's kinda promising when you get into it... well, I sure hope so. Frank is twenty eight: he's mentally stable for the most part, and well nobody has to know about pills he takes twice a day, do they? He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)

Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. I wrote this when I was 13 and finished when I was like 15. Now I'm editing as much as I can to make it less embarrassing. Sequel "Never look up" both fanfics make me cringe tbh

You don't notice what is happening in their personal life. Frank Iero is a victim of this. He bases his final judgements on just how people look. Though, he has a realisation. When he falls deeply in love with the school's literal demon. Gerard Way. Even though he acts tough and strong on the outside, he has a medical problem that could possibly kill him. No one knows except his divorced mother and his brother. So when he spills his heart out to Frank, he just hopes that he'll take it the right way.

But, Gerard falls ill, and he already knows what is happening. He had carried a child before, in his high school years, but that lead to a miscarriage. Gerard knows he's pregnant, and it raises past fears and depression. He starts doubting his trust on Frank, and starts to isolate his true feelings to protect his unborn child. Mikey urges Gerard to tell Frank, but his older brother is hesitant. His last boyfriend deserted him. Would Frank, his beloved husband, desert him, too?
