When Frank graduated high school, two things were certain: he wanted to go to college to be a teacher and he was unwaveringly in love with Gerard. Gerard was 6 years younger but the pair grew up next door neighbors with a fairytale story of falling in love. The fairytale ended when Gerard decided the age gap was too much, leaving Frank and his broken bleeding heart in the dust. After finishing his teaching masters degree the spring before his 25th birthday, Frank finds himself moving home to care for his sick mother and taking a very uninspiring job as an English teacher at Belleville High School. It was a job he was certain would be boring until he learns quickly that Gerard is a senior at the same high school. Emotions flare and tensions rise as Frank realizes the feelings he thought were long and buried are still very much around. Listen, if you told Gerard Way that he fell in love with a boy- He would stop you there and call you fucking crazy because that only means he A.) found someone who he found attractive and B.) befreinded this guy. Which was absolutely not possible and he would take great offense in you pulling his chain. Frank Iero on the other hand, had been itching to get to know the weird quiet kid, who had greasy inky black hair and skin paler than paper. Who ignored everyone who came his way. Who would bite his nails when nervous- and yeah, maybe he did have a little bit of a problem. But in his eyes, he was just observant! Totally not a creep watching this kid's every move. He's normal now, he's a person now, he's a fucking adult with an office job and he fucking hates it and that's fine, because he got out of the mental hospital three years ago, and these past three years of mundane nothingness have been the best three years of his life. Ten years ago, or so, Frank was in love with a boy called Gerard with fiery red hair and the personality of a switchblade knife, and ten years ago that boy called Gerard had killed himself. Frank still saw him though: hallucinations, as he knew them to be now, and it took him years in a hospital he never thought he'd get out of to convince himself of his newfound sanity, but he was okay now. Twenty eight year old Frank Iero had been officially 'okay' since he was twenty five. He hadn't seen Gerard again, and he didn't even think about the guy - he was just normal, and he was almost painfully content with being the secretary to someone with a five figure salary. But of course, on one fateful morning in December, that has to go and change, doesn't it? (Technically a sequel to Summertime, but I wouldn't say you need to have read Summertime to understand and enjoy this)Terminé

Gerard was in town to visit his brother Mikey like any normal good brother would do, but things turn out to be a bit complicated when he 'accidentally' kills his brother's friend, and it gets even more complicated when that friend doesn't stay dead for long. Things seem complex now but it gets even worse when Gerard is haunted down by a bitter ex boyfriend and a powerful demon, how will he manage to survive all that? And could his not-so-dead victim be his end or salvation? Tbfh I suck at description but I do encourage reading this, it's kinda promising when you get into it... well, I sure hope so.
