This is a project I made for school, our theme was 'History's Worst Criminals'. My team and I ended up choosing The Axeman of New Orleans, a killer whose presence was evident during 1918 and 1919.
The format of this project is quite mixed, as we've used both pictures/newspapers and text. We thought that newspapers and reports would bring this story to life and perhaps be an opportunity for the reader to feel a part of the investigation.
Please note that parts of the story have been changed for convenience and for the investigation's sake. I apologize if that causes you any displeasure. In addition, as I was not aware of how the measuring system in America works/worked, I have accidentally made all our characters extremely short. I apologize again.

[Wendigo AU - Radiostatic] It's New Orleans in the 1930's. Alastor has been missing for 7 years in the Bayou. It's the whole reason Vox became a detective was to find his lost ex-friend. Maybe make up with him, or to know if he was okay. Rumors spread about a wendigo killing people who got lost out there, so Vox was going to get to the bottom of this. "Oh I..I'm I'm..?" The words wouldnt form. I backed up slowly as he cocked his head to the side, confusion on his face. Then he did the last thing I expected, he smiled. A face splitting smile that sent shivers down my spine. This was it I was going to die. I hit some kind of nerve and sent him over the egde. I closed my eyes preparing myself for the worst. I opened them to see him coming towards me. I backed up until I hit wall behind me. He kept coming until he was inches from my face. He slammed his hands on either side of my head, blocking any exit.
