One failed experiment has caused the world to slowly deteriorate, transforming most of the population into the living dead. While the remaining humankind struggles to survive at the bottom of the food chain, Jimin was determined to find the scientist that he spent his childhood with - the only spark of hope he thought there was.

Not long before he encounters Yoonji, a snobbish girl with an unknown past. As they venture along with each other, Jimin eventually finds out that Yoonji was actually the beam of hope humanity needed - and a light that shone in his heart.
